Wish I’d Said That..

I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast…
— Joyce Kilmer (1886–1918), Trees – Modern American Poetry. 1919

Respect

Warning!  This is a personal rant…

I’m interested in what goes through people’s minds when they park in front of a store which has a sign in front of the parking space telling them that the space is reserved for the customers of that shop, and they have no intention of shopping at that store.

Why would someone do that?  Anti-establishment?  Lack of respect for the store and it’s customers?  What?

I *might* be able to understand if there were no other parking spaces available in the whole parking lot, but when there are spaces in front of the store one is going to, and one *chooses* to park in front of another store in that other store’s designated parking… one has to wonder if it is a deliberate lack of respect for mothers to be and/or mothers with babies.

Any ideas?
